SUICIDE DIARY
I have encountered talk of suicide from individuals many times in life and even skirted the possibility once or twice myself. We, as a society, treat the topic as Taboo and mistakenly believe that not talking about a thing means it will happen less. We make suicidal thoughts into these great and terrible things that one should feel ashamed of having while, at the same time, reacting with shock and stigmatizing the individual when they try to discuss their problem.
I see suicidal thoughts as being the end point of all the fear and self loathing that any breathing human being must sometimes deal with. On the way to "ending it all" a person will first cut off ties with the important people in their life, give up their responsibilities and gradually return to a state of embryonic disconnectedness, I believe that, by confronting and acknowledging these trends, we can better understand ourselves and halt all self destructive behavior long before we reach the jumping off point.

In the making of this work, I was heavily influenced by Paul Auster's books, particularly "Moon Palace". like the Character in the book, the character in this story, Forsakes all material possessions, all worldly ties and evn the clothes on his back and enters the Ocean, from whence all life originated.
