I was trained as an Animator and I do tend to think in terms of gesture, action, characters and movement but over time, more and more illustration gigs came my way. I love Illustration, the projects are shorter, smaller and more affordable. This allows for a lot more freedom and experimentation. It also allows me to work with Text- a fascinating field in itself. the potential for creating a new world in a poster or telling a more complex story is ever present.
